Key Institute History Est 1982

The Mc Garry family has been training and producing show-jumping horses in Carrowmore, Sligo since 1955. Horses produced here have competed for many different countries in Olympic Games and European Championships.

The equestrian centre was built in 1972 to train riders from Ireland and all over the world. Riders who have trained here have gone on to become members of the Irish Equestrian Team. The equestrian centre specialises in teaching jumping to all levels of rider and the horse farm in breeding and producing for-sale, quality Irish horses and ponies for young riders and amateur riders.

The Key Institute Language School was established in 1982 to offer English language and equitation courses to young riders, aged 11-19 years old.
